“The British Sports Trust supports a remarkably successful initiative. The Sports Leaders Awards are intended to encourage people to volunteer to become coaches and organisers of sport in their communities. The scheme is designed to help people of all ages to develop their sporting interests so that they are better qualified to offer their services as coaches and organisers. At the same time it makes it possible for participants to develop their own self-confidence and leadership qualities, both of which can make all the difference to young people when it comes to finding a job”

Safety:
We also aim to lead the field with the current safety regulations. We are members of the Year Out Group the independent self regulatory organisation.
The majority of Gapforce programmes comply by self assessment to British Standard 8848 The Provision of Overseas School Expeditions. We utilize the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority risk programs. When ever you travel there is always greater risk than staying at home. Sportforce role is to ensure you are exposed to less risk than if you traveled independently, so you can concentrate on
enjoying your sport and enjoying your adventure!
